Over the past few weeks, "Baby Shark" from Pinkfong has been moving up the Billboard "Hot 100" all the way to a peak of #32. However, K-Pop fans have been blessed with this trend and its ton of idol covers over the past few years and it wouldn't be a stretch to say that, with the rise of K-Pop on a more international scale, idols from Red Velvet to Monsta X have played some role in the song's surge in popularity--alongside its catchy beat and slew of internet challenges.

Below, catch some of the "Baby Shark" idol covers and relive the moments that helped shape this trend. Or just, take a moment giggle at your bias either relishing this shark challenge or adorkably being like "What did I do to deserve this?"

Plus, be sure to share your favorite idol cover in the comments!

1. Red Velvet

They've got all the sharks covered--aegyo shark, hair flip shark, and girl power shark.

2. MAMAMOO

Hwasa goes Cleopatra to give her baby shark a sexy edge.

3. NU'EST W

The more serious Ren gets about his cover the cuter it becomes.

4. TWICE

There are two videos because when TWICE and baby shark combine they make magic.

5. iKON

Not sure which is better, B.I earnestly trying at a dance he most definitely would rather not be doing or Bobby's reaction. Probably both. Yeah, definitely both.

6. BLACKPINK

Lisa puts her whole heart and soul into every baby shark character.

7. NCT DREAM

If you were looking for a "dance practice"-level, professional version of "Baby Shark," look no further than NCT DREAM's super synchronized group cover.

8. Monsta X

Because no list would be complete without the ultimate baby shark battle--Muscle Shark vs. Hot Shark. Definitely not just "spiritual noise" like Shownu's shirt would have us believe.
